DEFF
Dead End Film Festival

Date:29 November, 2030

Time:not sure yet

Location:keep it in mind

Take a detour through the Dead End.

The Dead End Film Festival aims to promote short narrative films that have limited screening opportunities. The curatorial voice of DEFF supports filmmakers, artists and performers that employ a resourceful approach to their artistic production. Resourceful filmmaking most commonly uses means readily available to the filmmakers, such as inexpensive cameras and untrained cast and crew. We believe that these strategies can free filmmaking and artistic production from economic and social restraints and in doing so provide a greater diversity of voices and stories represented on screen and in other contexts for exhibition.

DEFF presents an annual festival program of film, performance and installation from local and international artists. Dead End is both an annual short film festival and a nomadic satelite platform for alternative modes of storytelling in various mediums.
