DEFF
Dead End Film Festival

Date:November 30th, 2018

Time:7pm — 12 am

Location:Coburg Drive In

The 2nd Annual Dead End FIlm Festival takes place on stolen Wurundjeri land. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people as first sovereign owners of this unceded country. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Take a detour through the Dead End.

DEFF provides alternative routes beyond the impasse. On Friday 30 November, the Coburg Drive-in transforms into a circus of cinema, theatre and song. For one night only this site operates as a platform for filmmakers, artists and performers to develop alternative modes of storytelling. Join us in the carpark for a carnival of disruptive wonder, inside a pageant of unearthly visions, under the big screen and amongst the stars. The Dead End Film Festival presents a program that emphasises resourceful filmmaking, performance and installation to inspire all walks, and wheels of life. From the screen to the stage, to the seat under your sails, herein lies the story of another Dead End.
